Upcoming this Weekend: WPX SSB Contest 2009
This weekend, the annual CQ WPX SSB contest will take place. The contest will start tonight at 0000z (which is 0100 local time here in DL) and will run for 48 hours. Exchange is signal report and QSO number. Make sure you select the right category! And don’t forget the Daylight Saving Time.
Check out the rules and take a look at the CQ WPX contest blog. The blog actually rises an interesting question whether Earth Hour will impact the contest activity. My personal guess is no! Maybe someone should invent “Green CO² neutral contesting”.
