The power of blogging or check your sources!
The recent fuss about the TI9KK DXpedition to Cocos Island (NA-012) (here & here & here) is a pretty good (or bad ?!) example how fast information spreads around in nowadays world. Blogs & RSS spread news fast. Sometimes too fast.
Therefore: Always check your sources and if you are running a DXpedition make sure your website is up-to-date to give people an official source. And even if it is a statement like “We are still checking the status – Please standby until further notice.”
Information speed definitely has accelerated!
