Since January 15, 2008, the new Terminal 2 at Mexico City Airport is in operation. Up to now, Delta Airlines, Aeroméxico, Aeroméxico Connect, Copa, LAN and Aeromar operate from the new terminal, which should provide some relieve to the “old” Terminal 1.

However, getting to Terminal 2 is a little tricky. Therefore Aeroméxico has published some driving directions (see below)

The new terminal looks nice, but plan in some extra time for your next visit Mexico City. Additionally you might want to check with you airline from which terminal they are operating.
