I just received the following information from Pepe, XE1J (via XE2K):

Last night at 12 am (nov 21 0500z) XE1YK and his team received permit to disembark at Clarion Island, very difficult the short trip from the boat to the beach, they had several difficulties with the boat and lost several runs of coaxial, around 1:00 Am (0600z). After fighting with the wind and the darness of the night finally installed one antenna , after several CQ’s they received the order to go back to the boat. No qsos were possible. The navy which provides the transport is fighting the illegal fishing in this natural reserve, for that reason the team is very affected and hat to change their original plan. They expect to arrive at Socorro NA-030 the next Saturday around 1500Z and to start the operation after landing on the island. Clarion coule be possible again when the boat will make the same trip to supply food and fuel to the islands.
