“Plutoed” – Word of the Year 2006
The US dialect society chose “plutoed” as the Word of the Year 2006.
“To pluto” has a meaning of “to devaluate”. The origin of this word based on the decision of the International Astronomical Union to rank Pluto (the star) no longer as a planet as it no longer meet its definition of a planet.
