PayPal Phishing = Identity Phishing?
Yesterday I received an interesting phishing email.

It seems that the phishers used an original PayPal email (images were loaded from PayPal.com) and just replaced the “Resolution Center” link with a link to their phishing site. When you click on this link you will be redirected to a swiss domain with a classical PayPal login screen. After entering your (hopefully fake
) user data, you proceed to a form asking to “Confirm Billing and Credit Card Information“.

Note the fake internet explorer address bar – realized via HTML
This form has two “interesting” fields:
- ATM pin number
- Social Security Number

What does this tell us? IMHO pure identity theft! So be careful!
