Starting January 2008, Bosnia-Herzegovina will have a new prefix: E7A-E7Z.

The old prefix T9A-T9Z has been withdrawn by the ITU. On December 18, 2007 the Ministry of Communications and Transport (BiH) announced this change formally in a press conference. The change was wanted by the government to have no more connections with the previous war times. Similar steps have been taken with passports, drivers licenses etc.
