As I have read Google Maps is now available in Europe. Additionally an upgrade of the satellite pictures has been performed.

The level detail is quite amazing. Below you will find a satellite picture of my old QTH where you can actually see the elements of my 3el beam pointing north.

The maps are pretty accurate – at least in my area. With this level of detail one could start a new hobby: Spotting ham radio antennas on Google Maps or Google Earth .
