Ham Blog?
G4LOH recently asked a good question in his blog: Where are the ham blogs?
Google returns about 2.8 million hits for ham radio blog and 2.7 million hits for ham blog. Lot of these hits are non relevant although you find a few blogs on the first pages. MSN returns about 125.000 hits respectively 327.000 hits for these search terms. These SERPs also contain only few relevant hits although the results are IMHO better than Google (might be related to the Jagger-Update). IMHO the JAs are pretty active as I have seen many JA Blogs in the SERPs with relative good rankings.
Another thing which just comes into my mind: ham radio blog readers are very relucant when it comes to posting comments in blogs… I have quite a few visitors but rarely one of them posts a comment
Has anybody an explanation for that? Comments welcome!

Hey its just like on 2 meters when someone calls a CQ or asks for help or information.
Many are listening to the machine but no one answers. All of us just sit there and wait for the other guy to answer.

OK, I need some advice.
I’ve got a Icom IC-746PRO connected to my computer via a Rascal GLX Cable. I’m trying to use MTTY freeware for RTTY and PSK31se freeware for PSK31 communications.
I can see the signals but only get garbage characters. Any idea’s on how to get this set-up working. And yes, I have read and tried to use the Help files in these programs.
I even tried to use my decode mode on my Icom rig but only get garbage characters there too.
